6 years ago, I moved to Florida from Illinois worried and scared what my future would have brought. Owning my own business and starting from start in a new area was scary and exciting at the same time. To make a long story short, in the past 6 years I have experienced lots of good and bad experiences with business people. I used to get really upset with all the bad people I have dealt with, but since experiencing the “good” and working with people who operate and run their businesses fairly, I have come to appreciate that on a higher level and look back at my “bad” experiences as a learning experience.
One of the greatest experiences I have had was meeting with this company. I first met the owner when I attended his networking group called New Era Networking. I started to attend this networking just by hearing about it from other people. I quickly learned that this group was created to help small business owners grow their business by meeting other business owners and helping one another get leads. This group is not only about getting leads, but making connections and building strong relationships with others. By building stronger relationships, this is where success comes in. Having lots of money is not success; it’s the relationships that you build with others that bring success, which then brings money and more business. He has created a group that helps people to learn about themselves and their businesses in a way that one would never even imagine. New Era Networking is so important and so effective in this community. There are lots of networking groups out there, especially in Florida, but this is really one of the “diamonds in the rough”. I have had the honor of co-directing this group and it has helped me to build my business, build my relationships and really break through the barrier I had. I have built my client base and built strong relationships with other companies and other people, where I am able to refer my customers to specific people where I know they will be taken care of. That is so important to me, when I can refer others to my customers and I know that my customers will be taken care of, and not ripped off. This I have learned by my experiences with the people at New Era.
He is very dedicated to those around him. He is always available to help anyone in need, it being middle of the day or middle of the night. Since attending this group, I have become friends with the owners, and by having a business relationship and a friendship, it has given me the opportunity to see and learn from a “great” businessman. Having a heart and caring for others, says a great deal about him which helps him to be able to grow his business. In this market, there are thousands of companies trying to compete for business, but this company goes above and beyond to help their customers and even non-customers. You don’t have to be a customer, to be treated like a customer.
I am now a client, a business partner and a great friend with the owner. I have never seen another company go above and beyond like this firm does. All of the staff treat others like family. Regardless of whom you are or where you came from or what situation you are currently in. Everyone there takes care of you from the moment you call them to each meeting you may have with them. If it was up to him, he would probably give up his soul in helping others, which he sort of does now. His heart is in his business, which will continue to bring him, his family and staff much success in the future.
There are not too many people nowadays that actually care and work really hard to make sure things are done right and fair. I am honored to work with the owner as a business partner and friend. I would recommend working with him to anyone I meet, for this person and his company will show you what it’s like to be treated like family!
